The Cousins
in Christ are on a mission to spread the message of God’s
salvation through music! Founded in 1997 by Rose Marie Rudolph,
the Cousins in Christ feature twelve children who are double
cousins.
Rose of Sharon Media is a
Catholic apostolate formed to create quality Christian entertainment and solid
teaching. Inspiration for the series came while Rose Marie spent long hours in a
Catholic hospital chapel praying before the Blessed Sacrament. Her 5-year old
son, Kevin, lay near death from a ruptured appendix. Miraculously, Kevin
survived, and Rose Marie felt called to create the album as a thank you to Our
Lord. “I realized I needed to give back to God first the talents he had given
me.”
These unique double
cousins will charm their way into your heart! The six Rudolph brothers, John
Paul, Matthew, David, Kevin, Joseph, and Isaac are the children of Rose Marie
and Stephen Rudolph. The three sisters are the daughters of Bob and Carol Meyer:
Rebecca, Katie and Stephanie, along with their younger brothers, Christopher,
Daniel and Michael. The two families are related twice by marriage. Bob Meyer
and Rose Marie Rudolph are siblings as are Carol Meyer and Steve Rudolph. This
is truly a family affair!
The Cousins in Christ continue to spread their gospel message through live
performances. Since 1997, they have appeared at celebrations throughout the
Diocese of Peoria, including performances for the CCD students of the
Missionaries of Charity. The Cousins in Christ have been featured at the
Catholic Marketing Network Trade Shows in Chicago and Philadelphia and on EWTN’s
“Faith Factory”. They appeared twice on A Closer Walk with Fr. Hal Cohen. This
summer they will take the stage at the Midwest Family Catholic Conference in
Wichita, Kansas. Their enthusiasm for the faith is an inspiration to young and
old alike!
